Connect with Motivated Students

Connect with students from a range of faculties and disciplines through our popular Industry Connections.

Industry Connections are promoted to all students and provide you an opportunity to expose your organisation’s brand and support its reputation as an industry leader shaping the future. They can be particularly helpful if your organisation is looking to connect with students outside of your typical recruitment disciplines.  

These events are different from recruitment presentations. Each session is aimed to introduce students to topics of relevance shaping industry and the world of work, and help students learn about and explore different careers. It is an ideal opportunity to introduce students to your organisation, inspire them, and drive engagement. 

Spaces are limited to 2-3 speakers from different organisations at each session.  

The set topics for Term 2 are:

  1. Tech Skills for Non-Tech Students
  2. Emotional Intelligence and How to Use it to Succeed
  3. The world of work post COVID-19               

Students vote for their preferred topic each term which means students are motivated to attend. If you have suggestions that you would like to propose to students for Term 3, please e-mail

3 Industry Connections take place each term at pre-determined times and dates to maximise student attendance. Please e-mail to discuss available dates. Each session will go for 1.5 hrs allowing your organisation to present and allow time for Q&A. 

Term 2, 2020 (Please note Term 2 events will be presented virtually) 

  • Tuesday June 16       1pm -2.30pm
  • Tuesday July 14        1pm -2.30pm
  • Tuesday August 4     1pm -2.30pm



There is no cost for organisations to participate in these events. Targeted e-mails and additional follow up marketing can be arranged at a cost.
