Raise your Organisation's Profile
You are invited to take advantage of a range of options, and
Careers and Employment would be happy to provide advice.
Banner Advertising (Careers and Employment Online):
Increase your company's profile with UNSW students. Raise awareness
of your current campaign and events for only $99 per month. Located
in Jobs Online, your Banner Advertising will allow you access to over
16,000 students. Banners initially appear in a maximised format that
can be minimised by students so that job ads are more accessible.
In minimised format students will see a smaller logo and the first
line of the banner text.

Employer Profiles:
Increase your organisation's profile and raise awareness of your current campaign and
events. Students use this service to research which organisations are recruiting, who
they are targeting, if they are participating in UNSW events and much more.
Be accessible to over 40,000 UNSW students.
Cost: $110 [GST inclusive] pa; listing may be updated to reflect graduate/vacation
employment.

Posters and Brochures:
We do not encourage brochures or posters as they don’t appear to be very effective at UNSW.
Research from UNSW Facilities indicates that on average posters are only viewable for 20 minutes
before being covered up or taken down.
As fewer students visit the Careers and Employment office, preferring to conduct their job search
via our website, brochures too are ineffective.
A more cost effective, environmentally responsible use of your marketing budget would be to
advertise on the
Jobs Online,
Employer Profiles and/or
International Employment Program sections of our website. We can attach a soft copy of any poster or brochure.
This will ensure your information is directly accessible to over 40,000 UNSW students 24/7.
UNSW Co-op Program:
The UNSW Co-op Program is a scholarship program developed by industry
and the University of New South Wales to provide scholarships and
industry training to exceptional undergraduate students in the
disciplines of Commerce, Science and Engineering.
Students are selected for the Program by UNSW and industry on the
basis of academic excellence, demonstrated leadership skills and
personal motivation.
For industry it provides:
-
Scholars on structured industrial training placements totalling
between 9 and 18 months, and an opportunity to assess scholars
in your own workplace
-
Close access to exceptional undergraduates selected not only
for their academic qualities, but also for demonstrated leadership
and personal motivation skills
-
First access to recruitment of the brightest scholars with
relevant industry training, and
-
Close contact with UNSW through seminars, meetings
and visitation programs.
More information is available on the
UNSW Co-op Program's website.
Scholarships:
Scholarships are advertised widely throughout the University. Each year
thousands of students apply for scholarship assistance and many hundreds
of applicants are interviewed by scholarship funding bodies.
