Guidelines for Job Advertisements
Please review the following prior to placing your advertising.

1. Anti-discrimination Law (www.industrialrelations.nsw.gov.au/workplace/discrim/default.html prohibits advertisements that indicate an intention to discriminate on the grounds of:
   
   • sex
   • marital status
   • pregnancy
   • race
   • ethnic or ethno-religious background
   • disability
   • age
   • homosexuality
   • transgender status
   • need to care for or support a child or other 'immediate family member'.
2. Any costs to the applicants e.g. required training for the position, must be clearly outlined in advertisements. It also must be clear to applicants if a position involves unpaid work e.g. volunteer or work experience positions.
3. UNSW Careers and Employment Jobs Online is a service for advertising available work for undergraduates, graduates and postgraduates. UNSW Careers and Employment Jobs Online cannot be used for advertising or promotional material.
4. UNSW Careers and Employment reserves the right not to accept any advertisement and to alter an advertisement. UNSW Careers and Employment is not responsible for errors, omissions or non-insertion.

Email the following to careers@unsw.edu.au Maximised logo or graphic in JPEG, GIF or SWF (Flash) format: 150 pixels wide by 100 pixels high. Minimised logo or graphic in JPEG, GIF or SWF (Flash) format: 75 pixels wide by 50 pixels high. Text: no more than 150 characters. Complete the Payment for Services form and fax it 02 9385 6145. Advertising will be uploaded when payment has been received. Banner Advertisements initially appear in a maximised format that can be minimised by students so that more job advertisements are visible. In minimised format students will see a smaller logo and the first line of the banner text. We are able to provide statistics on the number of times your Banner Advertisement is displayed, and the number of click-throughs to your website.
