Guest Workshops

Are you interested in increasing your profile while sharing your expert advice with UNSW students?

Guest presenters make a 45-minute to 1-hour presentation to students at lunchtime on a range of career related topics.

Previous topics that have proved popular have included: "Resumes and Cover Letters That Get You an Interview", "Preparing for Interviews", "Evaluating and Negotiating a Job Offer" and "Case Study Answers that Impress Employers". We have also put together a list of some possible topics.

Benefits for your organisation include:

  • Provide a chance to increase your profile on campus;
  • Can be targeted to students in particular faculties;
  • Show students that your organisation is interested in them and their needs.
  • Provide opportunities for line managers, past graduates and recruiting staff to meet with students who are interested in your organisation and your industry;

  • Develop career skills and knowledge based on the experience of people working in industry;
  • Provide current information about employer needs and marketplace expectations in the recruiting process;
  • Provide information they can use to improve their skills in marketing themselves to employers;
